Charles Kessler IV

Born and raised in southern California, Charles Kessler IV received his MFA in ceramics at Arizona State University, Tempe. He was originally influenced by living between the beach and the city while attaining his BFA at California State University in Long Beach, CA. Currently Charles’s ceramic forms and surface treatment draw inspiration from geometry and architectural shapes. He uses pattern and forced perspective to blur the line between a mental and a physical space.
